Windows 10: Audio not working on hp probook 470 g5

Discus and support Audio not working on hp probook 470 g5 in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Suddenly speaker icon shows white x on red background . Audio is not working.     Audio not working on hp probook 470 g5


    Suddenly speaker icon shows white x on red background .


    Audio is not working.

    I have reinstalled audio drivers with no luck to get audio working.

    I have tried sound troubleshooter in HP Support Assistant with no luck.


    It seems like audio hardware is not being recognised.

    Any help in resolving issue would be appreciated.

    Just so you know I am using Windows 10 1809.

    Installing update 1709 on a Hp Probook 470 G3


    Hello,

    I have a HP Probook 470 G3 (UK english). I cannot install this "damned" upgrade . Have you an idea why ? MS worked on it and the upgrade stay stucked at 28 % via the media creation tool !

    Any help is welcome , HP does not answer ?

    Somebody on this forum already did this ugrade on such a machine ?

    New HP Probook with Win 10 Pro Education


    First, congratulations. ProBooks are quite good, I'm writing this post on 470 G5.

    You should be OK, subject to Windows being properly activated. I'm just a bit surprised, Pro Education should not be pre-installed on devices sold to consumers.

    Please allow me to ask if you are absolutely sure about the edition? If you go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation, what edition is shown there?

    Fingerprint reader not working ----- WINDOWS 10 1809

    I have an HP ProBook 470 G5 and I cannot get Fingerprint reader to work all drivers are installed biometrics are not shown in Devices.

    Can someone please help to resolve issue.
