Windows 10: Audio not working??

Discus and support Audio not working?? in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; i’ve just upgraded my cpu and i don’t get any audio from my headphones, however when connecting my pc to a tv instead of my monitor i do get sound???...     i’ve just upgraded my cpu and i don’t get any audio from my headphones, however when connecting my pc to a tv instead of my monitor i do get sound??? from my headphones, i’ve tried using hdmi instead of display port on my monitor and it doesn’t seem to mark a difference
