Windows 10: Audio not working

So about yesterday at 8:00 pm my computer had a bsod, followed by another , and another, and i tried everything and only was able to get it into safe mode but i couldnt do anything while in safe mode except uninstall gpu drivers and that fixed it but when i downloaded new ones it crashed again, but thats not the point, when it finally fixed itself the audio wasnt working, ran audio trouble shoot and it said "One or more audio service is not running" and i looked up that error and did every single fix i could find and none of them work , i think its because i un installed the latest quality update while i was trying to fix the bsod issue, but i try to update it and it is stuck on update queued . Is the windows not updating the problem? how do i fix that problem? if its not the problem how do i figure out/ solve what is

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

Hi,

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Can not record audio.

• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
