Windows 10: Audio Not Working

Discus and support Audio Not Working in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My laptop doesn't play any audio, despite everything I've tried.     Audio Not Working


    My laptop doesn't play any audio, despite everything I've tried. Trobuleshooting didn't help and my guess is that the driver is faulty or it is wrong. Does anybody know a solution? thanks Audio Not Working :)


    Computer Information:

    • Dell Latitude E6520 Laptop
    • Windows 10 Version 1803
    • Intel Core i7 2640M CPU (Dual-Core, 3.50GHz)
    • NVIDIA NVS 4200M GPU
    • 8GB DDR3 RAM
    • 500GB HDD

    Audio not working

    Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    • Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you performed to fix the issue?

    Can not record audio.

    Hi,

    We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

    • Type troubleshooting on the search box.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Recording Audio.
    • Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select Hardware and Sound.
    • Select Playing Audio.

    Audio no longer working: Both my RealTek speakers that are inboard on my laptop and my Dell Monitor speakers have stopped working and yet, the system thinks these devices are working properly! Have used Troubleshooters and they have not helped...Bluetooth speaker is the only way I can get audio.......
