Windows 10: Audio Popping

Discus and support Audio Popping in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Whenever I go to the Sounds window and go into the Recording tab my audio suddenly starts popping and crackling until I close it.I've already tried...     Audio Popping


    Whenever I go to the Sounds window and go into the Recording tab my audio suddenly starts popping and crackling until I close it.I've already tried updating all of my drivers and windows itself to no avail. I've used my headphones alone, with my DAC, and even a different pair of headphones and the issue persists. I'm not sure why it happens and its ONLY when I am in the recording tab, not playback, sounds, or communications.System is custom built.

    Can not record audio.

    Hi,

    We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

    • Type troubleshooting on the search box.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Recording Audio.
    • Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

    Hi guys,

    Anyone have any idea the main causes of popping crackling audio from on-board audio?
    My computer has only just started doing this and it happens in both the front and back audio jacks with different headphones.
