Windows 10: Audio popping

For the last month, the audio has started to pop on my Lenovo gen 7 every time it stops playing. The popping occurs on both the speakers and the headphone output. It occurs once sometimes and isn't too loud, but it is still annoying for someone with very sensitive ears. I've tried reinstalling the current audio driver and installing multiple alternate audio drivers to no avail, and am considering reverting from windows 11 to windows 10. However, this issue has also occurred on my older Lenovo gen 4 that operated on windows 10. I currently have Realtek High Definition AudioSST as my audio dri

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

must be a power issue, id suggest maybe googling it with your specific hardware even

Hi guys,

Anyone have any idea the main causes of popping crackling audio from on-board audio?
My computer has only just started doing this and it happens in both the front and back audio jacks with different headphones.
