Windows 10: Audio Problam

hey, my name is arshad i'm using windows 10, i have laptop acer swift3, i5,8th geni'm trying to install audio driver from offical website and install it to my laptop but nothing workedi clicked right and checked properties its showing error -The drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28 There are no compatible drivers for this device. To find a driver for this device, i tried this method too but nothing worked for meFrom Start, search for device manager and select Device Manager from the results.Right-click the device in the list.Select Uninstall from the menu th

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

Method 1: I suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + W Key.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting and click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Devices to run the default troubleshooter.
  

If issue still persist, refer to below method.

Method 2: I suggest you to download and install the latest audio drivers from the manufacturer’s website for Windows 10, if it is not available then you can install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Audio Problems

Hi there SimonWildZX, I will be your Independent Advisor for today, I hope we can both resolve your problem.

May I suggest to completely uninstall all Audio drivers listed in the Device manager including the headset. Please make sure to completely remove.

Here is how to do it.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry Sound and Audio devices. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.

Repeat the steps in all the Audio devices listed.

Then reboot. then test the headset again.
