Windows 10: Audio problem troubleshooter window does NOT pop up when attempt to click on "output...

I have new HP Pavilion Plus laptop with Windows 11. I videotaped myself playing my musical instrument using my laptop but when I replayed it went silent after I spoke and then played the first note. I looked at settings on my laptop and it indicates that the sound devices are working. I tried to use the troubleshooting for audio problems but when I click on either "input devices" or "output devices" nothing happens. The audio problem troubleshooter window does NOT pop up like it is supposed to. and "Help" didn't help solve through its diagnostics. I need this fixed as I need to record mysel

Troubleshooting a sound problem deletes my audio driver!

First of all, you ought to carefully read my post before you offer your combative attitude ( I've heard about you)
Now stay with me here and TRY TRY TRY to read the following carefully :

1. In the midst of browsing , Windows defender kicked in.
2. Windows finished the scan.
3. Moments later I've noticed a red X on the speaker icon.
4. When I clicked on the red X icon , the automatic troubleshooter popped up and began ticking for ever.
At the end it announced : Could not fix the problem.
5. Frantically checked the Audio drivers list. my realtek driver disappeared.
As to your reply to my question concerning the effectiveness of MS troubleshooter, your guesswork does not count as an exact science answer: "A variable" ROFLMAOL .

I've tried every step that was suggested, still getting no audio output device installed.
