    Audio problems when using headset's input and output simultaneously.


    I recently bought myself a laptop to use for college. It has been great - it has lived up to my expectations bar one thing: it's audio consistency.Whenever I plug in my wireless headset and use both it's speakers and microphone at the same time eg. calling with friends all sound that comes out of the speakers is put through what sounds like a terrible noise cancelation filter. It tries to filter out every sound except for voices - even if it is on another tab - so all of a sudden any background music I had playing, or any video I was watching, now has it's audio impaired along with the voice

    No audio input or output devices found

    After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

    Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

    The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

    Headset and headset microphone cannot be discovered as output and input devices

    Could someone please help me with my problem? When I have plugged my Logitech g233 headset with the microphone into my laptop, I cannot find it in settings under the list of devices, and the microphone does not work as I cannot
    select it (I can only find speakers (Realtek high definition audio) and microphone array(Realtek high definition audio)). However, when I have plugged it into another laptop in the same way, it works and I can find it
    as an input and output device on settings (they are discoverable as headphones(Realtek high definition audio) and headset microphone (Realtek high definition audio)). I have ensured that it was plugged in correctly in both cases.
    May I know some possible causes for this problem and how to fix it?

    Also, if this helps, I cannot find the app "Realtek Audio Console" on the laptop that I am having problems with but I can find it on the laptop which the headset and microphone work on. I have tried to install it but I do not know how to do so.

    Windows 10 Audio input to programs broken

    Recently my audio input, from USB headset and USB guitar cable have stopped working. Going into Windows 'Sounds' and enabling 'Listen to this device' outputs the audio as expected; the problem is not with the devices. However, as soon as I try to use them with any other program, discord, for example, no audio input is detected by discord.

    I have tried everything I can think of and some suggestions from Googling around;

    • Updating everything - windows, drivers, all related software
    • Rolling windows back to the last build
    • Trying different USB ports
    • Reinstalling drivers and software
    • Running Windows troubleshooters
    • Playing with device properties settings

    But nothing seems to work, any suggestions?
