    Audio Quality

The audio on our churches youtube feed has been horrible of late and I'm suspecting the problem is someone in the Lenova laptop we use to stream the video?

How can I sample or hear the quality of the sound coming into the laptop vs the quality of the sound going out to youtube?

    - - - Updated - - -

I forgot, maybe someone can riddle me this...

In the device manager I chose sound --> Recordings then looked at the properties on the USB input coming from our mixer. On the levels tab, I can turn the level up to say 80 then watch it lower itself automatically to say 20 as the mixer audio gets louder.

Where is the setting or what makes it automatically control the input or "recording" volume? Anyway to turn that off?

    :)

    Sound Quality

One thing that sticks out from looking at your "My Computer" specs. You list "ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)" which suggests you do not have the correct sound hardware driver. Your motherboard has Realtek sound and the first step is to install the Realtek sound drivers. My ASUS also came with Sonic Studio 2 which is a sound enhancement package. Check the ASUS install disc to see if you have something similar.

May not be a speaker problem.
