  1. Audio randomly lowers itself whenever it wants

This only happened after an Advanced Micro Devices update, which may be the cause. Whatever happens, I'll be watching a video let's say, and anywhere within a few seconds of watching on a reasonable volume, like 12, the audio cuts out and you can't hear anything until you blast the volume to 100, but it's still really low, and if you keep it at 100, the volume will randomly shoot back up at full blast for a few seconds before quieting itself again. Is this a bug with the driver update I just got? Or is my computer defective.

Audio randomly lowers itself whenever it wants

My left headphone randomly lowers it's volume.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forums.

    • What is the make and model of the headphone?

This could be due to the change in Balance levels of the playback device. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

    • Right click the sound icon on the taskbar and choose
      Sounds
      .
    • Select your headphone, and click on Properties.
    • Click on Balance under Levels
tab, adjust Left and Right to the same levels.
    • Save the changes and check if the issue persists.

For more troubleshooting tips on audio issues, refer Fix sound problems in Windows 10.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards,
