Windows 10: Audio Recording Problem

I have been trying to set up my Tascam Model 24 for use with Facebook Live and recording podcasts/videos. I have been through all the app permissions, settings etc. The microphone and audio playback is detected and sending signals both ways. I can listen to the microphone by using the listen feature. I get all my system sounds and playback sounds to come through. When I attempt to voice record, the computer does not detect my microphone. When I attempt to Facebook Live it pops up as my default recording device but also does not provide any audio. I've checked the drivers as well and all seems ok there. There's some kind of disconnect between apps and system but I just can't seem to find it. Again, I have already given everything full permission to use the microphone. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Small icons.
• Go to Troubleshooting > Hardware and Sound >
  Recording Audio.

From what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to try these steps to see if it resolves the issue

Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with recording. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your recording.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Recording Audio troubleshooter

I suggest you to install all the latest audio and Display drivers from the manufacturer web site and install.
