  2. Audio Service Not Responding

You can try a few things if you're having trouble with the audio service not responding on Windows.

    • First, restart your computer and see if that fixes the problem.
    • If not, try running the Windows audio troubleshooter.
    • You may need to update your audio drivers if that doesn't work.
    • You can do this through the Device Manager.

    Audio service not responding

    Hello,

The audio on my computer isn't working. I've run Troubleshooter and this is what comes up:

Audio services not responding Not fixed

One or more audio service isn't running Completed

Both the Windows audio and Windows Audio End Point Builder services

must be running or audio to work correctly. At least one of these services isn't

    running.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Elda

audio services not responding in windows 11

I'm trying to use an external mic using Presonus Audiobox. A message saying "audio services not responding" when I troubleshoot the problem. The computer recognizes the audiobox in both the input and output, but cannot get the mic to work. The audiobox works perfectly in my old windows 10 computer but not in my new computer with windows 11. I've tried all the fixes from online forums and from Presonus. Still no luck.

    Suggestions?
