Windows 10: Audio sounds alot lower when in a video game?

so, i had and always have used my audio on 60 windows, and never changed the in game audio settings in video games.but recently, when i tried to play a game, spesificly skyrim, the audio is just alot lower? even when i boost the volume to 100 yes checked volume mixer, and boosted all the sounds to the maximum in game, it was still barely as loud as it was? this problem has never occured to me before, and when i test my audio/sound, it all sounded normal, and on other programs such as youtube, the audio is normal.curently, im using a laptop, with windows 10, RealtekR as the speakers, with 1

Thank you for replying with the status of the issue.

I would suggest you to uninstall the audio drivers and restart your computer and check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists once again uninstall the audio drivers and then visit the manufacturer website and download and install the latest drivers and check if the issue gets resolved.

Follow the steps to uninstall the drivers.

• Press Windows key + R key.
• Type devmgmt.msc and press
  Enter.
• In device manager go to Sound, video and game controller.
• Right click and uninstall.

Also update the motherboard chipset drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.

lost Sound Audio after upgrade to Windows 10

I would suggest you follow the steps below and see if it helps.

Method 1: Type “windows updates” in the search bar and press Check for updates option. If updates are remaining, kindly install all of remaining windows updates.

Method 2: If this doesn’t help I would recommend you try updating the Audio drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Sound card and click on Update driver software.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

Method 3:Try Uninstalling and then reinstalling the Sound drivers. Follow the steps below

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type “devmgmt.msc” in the run prompt.
  
• 
  Expand the Sound, video and game controllers, right-click the sound card, click uninstall.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, let Windows detect the driver and install by itself.
  
• 
  Manually download the latest drivers by going to the manufacturers Website.
