Windows 10: Audio Static Present / Audio Clicking Present

This is a two part problem. So its a pain to deal with.

1 When I record audio though my headset with the audio jack, I have audio static constantly, even if I have my microphone disconnected, which means it is not coming from the external noise of my PC. If there is a solution with either my software settings or the kind of hardware, assistance is appreciated. When I record my microphone on my PS4 there is no static.

2 If I record audio through my webcam, a loud ticking/clicking noise occurs. It is a Logitech C920.

I cannot add an audio file from Windows Media Player to Power Point Presentation. I have tried the usual ways, but no success.

 

Can not record audio.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

No audio device present after november firmware update and update to TH2

I just updated my Surface 3 with the November 2015 firmware update. The update seemed to go off with no problems. Afterwards, There is no audio device present. I reinstalled windows clean from the TH2 iso, installed the Surface Platform installer, and
still no audio device present. The drivers are there and the device is installed in device manager, but there is no sound coming out of the speakers. I completely uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the drivers, and now when I right click the speaker icon
in the system tray, there is an audio device, and whenever I open the Movies & TV app and try and play a video, it says the video cannot be played with an error that says no audio device is present. I also cannot play youtube videos in edge. This is a pretty
serious issue.
