Windows 10: Audio Stream preventing PC from entering Sleepmode

I have my PC set to enter sleep mode after 90 minutes of inactivity and it's not working.For years I've been streaming live Ambient music at bed time for Relaxation and De-stress to help me fall asleep. So this is important for me.This problem started since upgrading to Windows 11 in June 2024. Its infuriating to wake up and find that my PC is still on and still playing music. This is wasting electric and causing more wear and tear on my computer. Never had this problem before, so why now?What is the point of having power options if the PC, O/S or whatever the culprit is, disobeys what its tol

Xbox One Streaming to PC (Win 10), lost audio after a week of streaming

So I was streaming my Xbox to my Windows 10 PC and everything was going great. I cancel the stream on the PC went back into it right away on my PC and notice there was no audio.

Every time I try to stream now, there is no Audio coming when I stream. There volume is working properly on my PC, just get no audio when I stream to my PC.

It was working last weekend with no issues, I was able to complete an entire game with audio. I start a new game, was able to play it with audio, and the audio cut out throughout the entire Xbox app on my computer.

I tired some of the suggestions I found on other forums but no luck. Any suggestions to fix this issue? Anyone else had this issue before?

***UPDATE*** So I just check the xbox on my TV also and there is no audio. I didn't hit any setting that turned off the audio, but now I'm not getting any audio from Xbox or Streaming my Xbox.

 

Disable updates in sleepmode

It's not automatically downloading thats annoying me so much as it decides to update while my PC is in sleepmode, i don't see how that helps me sorry. I've seen some people say disable it in task scheduler but it won't let me do that despite using the pro
version.

I suggest you run the sound troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on View All on top left pane.
• Click on Playing audio from the list and follow the on-screen prompt for troubleshooting.
