Windows 10: Audio suddenly echoey or muffled/bad quality sounding after restarting

So long story short, i was playing raft with my boyfriend when he started to hear an echo from my side. i unplugged my headset audio jack and plugged it back in, but I couldn't hear anything, even when troubleshooting for sound issues. i restarted, and suddenly my audio in my headset was really bad, and not what it was before. all drivers are up to date, and I've restarted multiple times, checked the sound systems, properties, etc, but nothing seemed to help. I am using a SOMIC GS510 Gaming Headset, and my specs are listed below. Another thing to add is that earlier, I had updated all of

Muffled/Bad quality on headphones in Windows 10.

So today, I got a new gaming headset (LVLUP Lu732) and I was excited to use them. I tested them on my Mobile phone, the audio was great, tested it on my Console, the audio was great, but when I tested on my PC, the audio was muffled and bad. The Microphone
was good tho, but I could barely hear the quality until I put it to 100. When I put the volume on 100, it sounded like someone was underwater, This also happened to my previous headphones, the audio was muffled and bad. Is there anyway I can fix this problem?

Sound will suddenly sound muffled and low quality.

I've had Windows 10 for 4 months, and there's been plenty of problems... One of the ones that just arose that I hope to fix is a weird sound bug. Whenever I play anything, whether it be a game or music, it'll suddenly go muffled for a few seconds and then
back to normal. It does this transition a lot and it gets very annoying. I haven't changed any sound settings at all until this started happening. It doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Realtek HD Audio low and bad quality sound after Windows 10 upgrade

Do the following steps:

1. Go into Sound.
   
2. Properties.
   
3. Advanced and change the sound quality from CD to DVD quality.
   

It worked for me.
