    Audio very quiet/horrible quality on brand new PC running windows 11 with headphone jack


    Hi-As the title states, I'm having issues playing any type of sound over my headphones. Bluetooth plays audio normally at high quality, but the microphone is extremely quiet only picks up 7% of max volume. With the headphones connected via the jack, the sound is maybe 10% of what it should be, and the quality is god awful. I need to use the headphone jack because Bluetooth doesnt support audio when the microphone is in use. I could buy an external mic but I shouldnt have to.I've spent the last 2+ hours troubleshooting and trying to solve this issue to no avail. Here are the things I've tried

    It is surprising and shocking that connecting a simple headphone has become an issue. Can anyone help me with this.

    Audio Issues - Quiet & no detection of headphones


    I usually found had to switch between speakers and headphones either in sound properties or through sound device software to make them work. Could depend on type you are using, USB headphones or 3.5mm headphone jack or larger. One thing should of listed was brand and model of headphones. Some headphones USB come with software and drivers.
