Windows 10: Audio/video desync issue Windows 10

So I've been having an audio/video desync issue on sites like Twitch, where the longer I watch the more the audio/video slowly goes out of sync.. I have done some searching to a possible fix, and found that disabling "fast startup" in the power settings fixes this issue, and I wanted to know why that is?I also noticed that when disabling the setting, it increases my CPU temps.. I am using an i9-9900k with an H150i, and with the setting enabled as it is by default, my idle temps are 36-37c, but when disabling the setting, my idle temps go up to 52-53c.. and I want to know why that is?? Fast Startup Issue Audio Desync Streamed Video

Hello i'm experiencing random audio desync in some site like twitch... seems disable the fast startup in windows solved the issue.My system have 1 month and i'm scared if something is faulty. From what
can depend , a driver issue, windows issue?? i have all latest driver from asus site for my mb.

Audio Desync

I noticed since last weekend (12.10.2018) that after some time the audio starts to desync,i tried in chrome,firefox,edge,netflix and offline movies its all the same,I tried reinstaling every audio driver but the problem is still happening.Is there any
fix for it ?

• Are you facing this issue with particular video file or all the video files?
  
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving this issue.

Note: The steps mentioned below are applicable to Windows Media player only.

Make sure “Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized”

1. Open Windows Media Player.

2. Click on Tools and then on Options

3. Switch to Performance tab.

4. Ensure that a check is next to the "Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized" and "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" options.

5. Click "Apply" and click "OK."

Restart Windows Media Player and open a video file. Ensure that the audio and video are in sync.
