Windows 10: Audio way too loud on lowest setting

My headphones play audio too loud - I have never had this issue before and when I connect them to another device, I did not face this issue. Even the volume six is too loud.As you can see in the attached picture, the volume is overflowing and I have no idea what to do. It it significantly beyond where the volume control should place it. I have troubleshot it, no result. I have changed the driver, and denied it exclusive priveleges. It is on every application. Help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am having trouble with my Samsung Omnia 7's volume control. The lowest setting (1 out of 30) is uncomfortably loud for watching Youtube videos and listening to music with earphones. The volume difference from 0 (silent) to 1 is huge, let alone 2-30. I
know there is a diagnostic menu called Sound Tuning where gain levels can be altered, is it possible to get some help with this? since nobody seems to know what the values actually change.

I don't have samsung, i have logitech speakers with the same problem. Too loud on the lowest setting. Does anyone know of a fix?

Lucky you. The normal volume and the "in-call" volume are different settings, but on the Omnia, the in-call volume is too quiet even at maximum, but for normal volume the lowest setting is too loud.



Can anyone with the new update say if any of this bahaviour has changed with that update at all?
