Windows 10: Audio weird?

A few hours ago I was in a voice call and all of the sudden I could not hear the other people in the call. I didn't change anything w/ my audio settings and when I tried to listen to some audio this happened: (Hopefully my mic can pick it up because I do not know whether the desktop recordings might work. Now, what really confuses me is that the Windows sound effects are not distorted, just audio coming from third party sources. I had to also put the audio all the way up on the headphones to make the audio remotely audible. I even upped the volume by 12 decibels for me to even hear it.

This is what I have done to try to fix this so far:

restore windows to a point before any of the audio problems happened

Deleted the realtek audio drivers and reinstalled them.

Changed the default audio sources for windows.


Now, To test that the problem was the pc and not the headphones themselves, I tested them w/ another PC, and it worked fine.


EDIT: What I have found so far is that high pitch sounds, such as a bell ringing, will make the headphones squeak.
