Windows 10: Audio won't play for websites like YouTube or my videogames.

This happened randomly, Earlier in the day I was playing my games with no problem and also watched YouTube with no problem. However suddenly in the middle of the day when I started playing my game, there was no audio, I checked the game settings and everything was working fine, then I tried to look for a YouTube video to fix it and there was no audio there either, The thing is I can hear sounds the system makes, like when I adjust the audio and it makes a beep noise, or when I spam the shift key and it makes the sticky key noise. I checked Audio drivers and everything was fine, then I checked

Troubleshooting help: YouTube videos won't play on Windows 10 PC

I just got a new Windows 10 PC & I'm finding that it won't play YouTube videos. Specifically YouTube. In the video area the loading indicator circles indefinitely and I see this message...

Additional info & steps I've tried...

• Netflix plays flawlessly
  
• Other Macs, PCs, iOS & Android devices on the same network play YouTube videos no problem
  
• I restarted the machine
  
• Restarted the cable modem
  
• The machine can do other Internet stuff fine -- browse websites, email, etc.
  
• I cleared the browser cache & browsing data
  
• I tried a different browser (I tried Chrome & MS Edge)
  
• I looked under "Windows Defender Security Center > App & browser control" but I don't see anything there about blocking videos.
  
• Turned off ad blocker
  
• Tried connecting via Ethernet and wi-fi
  
• No peripherals connected to the machine

Audio volume cannot be changed while Youtube Video is playing.

Bug Reproduction Steps:

• Use Bing to search any video
• IE10 goes to the Youtube
• Play Youtube Video
• Even the audio volume is up to the max or down to zero, you still can't feel volume changed.
• If I long press "<-" hardware back button to go to App Switch Screen, and change the volume at App Switch Screen. Thus, the volume of the Youtube Video will be changed.

 

Youtube Audio and Video go out of sync in Chrome

Just as a confirmation, do other video broadcast websites have the same problem?

If it only happens to YouTube, you could refer to the following steps:

1. Delete all your cookies and cached images from chrome for all time.
   
2. Sign out of your Google account and open YouTube.
   
3. Open YouTube and click settings in the top right and sign into your account from there. (it will look really weird to do, not like the usual login for your account).
   
4. Once this is done close the tab you used to login to YouTube.
   
5. Open a new tab and open YouTube again (either through favourites or typing it in).
   
6. Sign into your account via the button in the top right corner and the issue should be fixed.

If it is common, reinstall the graphics drivers and try with a shorter HDMI cable.
