Windows 10: Audio won't unmute

Discus and support Audio won't unmute in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have a pair of Senniheiser Momentum 4's, and I can't get them to work with Windows 11.     Audio won't unmute


    I have a pair of Senniheiser Momentum 4's, and I can't get them to work with Windows 11. They we working just a day ago, and now for whatever reason it won't now. It connects to bluetooth, but windows just mutes them. I have the volume up, I checked to see if they still worked on another device, and still windows just locks them on mute. I've set them on as the default device, still doesn't help. All my drivers are up to date, and I didn't do any updates before they stopped working. Any ideas?

    Audio doesn't works after I mute and unmute it

    Right-click on volume icon >> Open Volume Mixer >> drag the speaker volume down to zero and then drag the speaker volume to up and adjust. You will find the audio is back up and running, normally. This is the quickest temporary fix for now. Whenever you mute your audio, unmute and there is no sound. Repeat the Volume Mixer steps.
    I'm facing the same issue on my Windows 10 and Realtek, and this is how I am trying to get around the issue.

    Hi,

    In general, the microphone is on mute. We'd like to clarify following steps that you've done and ask you a few questions:

    • When you unmute the microphone, is it via Recording tab under
      Recording devices?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Are there any newly installed applications that may have caused this?
    • Is this an on going issue or recent?
