Windows 10: Audio

Had to reset my computer. Now no matter what I try, I get no audio to speakers, headphones, nor internal computer speaker. I have reinstalled audio drivers, done the sound troubleshooting test. When through Dell diagnostics. No issues found. When playing audio I open the volume mixer and I see the bars moving for the audio. I have gone to the speaker themselves and done audio tests...nothing. Swapped out speakers with know good ones...nothing. Put my speakers on a different computer and they work fine.


I suspect something was uninstalled during the computer reset. But I have tried everything I can find on researching on the net.


Please, please help!

• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Audio not working

No audio device is installed (How to fix?)


Since you uninstalled the Intel Display audio and you no longer have audio, that suggests you are using HDMI (??) If this is the case then the Realtek is not being used and not causing your problem.

First step as mentioned is to reinstall the Intel Display Audio.
