Windows 10: Audioslider is "broken"

So I was playing around with my speakers because when the speakers are quiet the left side was super quiet. After going beyond a certain level of volume they sound the same. (If you have a solution for that I am happy to receive some tips)

But on my quest of working on that, I played with the windows sounds settings. Now I kind of de-synced the sound symbol on my computer and my speakers. So when I change the volume on my speaker it becomes loud and I can turn them off BUT it does not change on Windows. On Windows, the slider is set to 10. And if I want the full sound of my speakers, I can turn them on full sound but windows won't let full sound happen unless I manually move the audio on the slider. So the problem is that the windows slider does not change when I change the sound on my speaker. How can I fix that?

Is my graphics card broken?

I have a Sapphire HD 4830.

When I boot into XP all is initially fine and I am able to see the desktop.

However, when I click on the start bar and navigate a few steps, I receive an immediate white screen of death and a total irrecoverable lock-up.

I am confused about what this could mean and I would be grateful for any suggestions on the best course of action to test and repair the problem.

Does this sort of issue suggest that the graphics card is irretrievably broken?

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Realtek audio broken with update, Also microsoft chat is broken

My audio is ruined with this last update, i've done every step and recommended action listed by microsoft and every suggestion on the first 20 pages of google search. Realtek is no longer showing up anywhere, like microsoft disabled it, microsoft chat is
also broken, requesting to speak with a human brings you to a couple options, all of which are broken and clicking on "chat" closes the window and nothing happens, this is absolutely disgusting, i've spent the last 4 hours trying to get my tablet, my audio,
and microsoft support to work.
