  1. Audiosrv is somehow causing my audio interface to enable/disable in loop

So I recently bought a new laptop with windows 10 on it, I planned to use it for studying and music production. So I have an audio interface that works perfectly on my other pc and when I plug it in my laptop, it causes my audio device to enabling/disabling in loop, which makes my CPU to overheated. I contacted the company that made my audio interface but because it's working on my other pc so I assumed that the problem is from the laptop. And I found that if I go to the app Services and that I restart the Windows Audio Audiosrv it fixes the problem until I unplug my audio interface. So I as

  2. Re-enable audio device

    Hi,

I would be happy to assist you.

Before we proceed with troubleshooting, I would need little information on the issue.

    • Are using speakers / head phones to listen to audio?
If you have disabled the audio device, then you might not see it under the list of playback devices. I would suggest you to follow these steps to make sure you see the disabled devices:

      • Open
        Control panel
        .

      • Click Hardware and Sound and then Click on
        Sounds.

      • Under Playback tab, right click on the empty area and make sure
“Show Disabled Devices” has a check mark on it. If headphones/Speakers are disabled, it will now show up in the list.

      • Right click on the device and
        Enable it. Click OK.
If the issue still persists, try enabling speakers automatically using steps below.

    • Go to Settings> Click on themes> Advance sound settings> right click on the speakers or the audio device youo have connected > click on
      Configure device.

    • Test the sound level you want, click Next.

    • And configure the audio devices.

Hope this helps you. Do reply if you need further assistance on Windows 10.

    Thank you.

    Multichannel audio interface in/out routing

    Hi Paulo,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forums.

    • What is the make and model of your external audio interface?
    • Which routing application are you using?

The configurations of inputs and outputs on any audio interface is dependent on the hardware and its supporting software. Any audio interface with more than 2 inputs and 2 outputs, should ideally give the user an option to map the
Input and Output Config, according to his interest.

I suggest you to go through the user manual provided by your audio interface's manufacturer to know how to set up the control surface.

If it doesn't explain how to configure, I suggest you to get in touch with the audio interface's manufacturer to know how to configure the same.

    Hope it answers.

    Regards,

  4. Audiosrv is somehow causing my audio interface to enable/disable in loop

run disable/enable network interface (Ethernet) in a loop

Use netsh.exe to enable/disable the interface.

Use timeout.exe to create a delay of 10 seconds.

Put both commands into a batch file.
