    Authenticator Validation Loop - not able to access paid services


    I have not had access to my MS Account outlook email/calender, ms office work/excel/PowerPoint for over a month. I pay a monthly subscription for the last 2 years 11 months as my email is hosted on the MS Exchange server.My livelihood depends on accessing my email and pre-booked appointments.I have contacted tech support on 6 occasions and they state a Data Protection/Security Team member will call me to address the issue.I'm losing business. This is more than an inconvenience... and I need help.Azure does not list a tenant for the account but I'm still getting billed. I can't start a sup

    CAC (Common Access Card) authentication in windows forms application

    Hi,



    I am working on CAC (Common Access Card) authentication in windows forms application. I have some below doubts.

    1. How I can validated CAC information?
    2. Do I need to used ActiveClient Agent? If yes, how I can use it?
    3. Is there list of API or services provided by DoD, which helps to validate CAC information?

    Could you please help me in above doubts?

    Password protected share able to access without authentication

    We have configured samba with password protected share folders. The problem what we are facing is, due to windows caching authentication is not asking when we change the password .For example Share has been configured with user name and password, when
    we trying to access the share, authentication prompt is getting and able to access with configured user name and password. Once password has been modified, expected while trying to access the share, should ask authentication prompt and access
    only with modified password. But share was able to access without authentication prompt.

    • On accessing samba share from ubuntu i don’t face any problems. Once we unmount the share after using it, it is prompting for username and password for the second time.
    • But in windows when I access samba share for the first time, second time it is not prompting for the username and password simply the samba shared is getting accessible.
    • I just want windows machine to ask password every time when the user closes the share, instead of doing “net use * /delete” every time, and we can’t request
      user to do this every time.
    • I tried below steps to disable windows cache , but still I am facing observing same behavior.
    Click Start >Run > gpedit.msc

    Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options

    Set "Interactive Logon: Number of Previous Logins To Cache"
    value to ‘0’



    Kindly let us know any way to fix this issue?

    Why is Microsoft Authenticator Stuck in a Login Loop?

    I'm having trouble signing in to my Microsoft account using Microsoft Authenticator on Windows 10. I also use Microsoft Authenticator on my Android phone.

    Here's what's happening:

    1. When I attempt to log in, I receive a message that says, "We'll send a sign-in request to your phone to sign in with my email address."
    2. I click the "send notification" button on my computer.
    3. On my phone, I'm asked to tap the number displayed on my computer screen to sign in without a password. I do this, and it confirms the number I selected on my phone is correct.
    4. However, back on my computer, I get stuck in a loop with the message, "We'll send a sign-in request to your phone to sign in with my email address." This cycle keeps repeating, and I can't log in.
    It's worth noting that I can sign in to my account on Windows 10 and my Outlook account without any issues. I'm specifically having this problem with Microsoft Authenticator.

    In summary, Microsoft Authenticator is stuck in a continuous loop, preventing me from logging in.

    I've attempted several fixes

    1. Reinstalled the app.
    2. Reset my phone.
    3. Logged out and back into the Authenticator app on my phone.
    4. Reset my computer.
    5. Removed the two-step authenticator from my Microsoft account and then re-enabled it.
    The picture underneath is what I get in a loop.
