Windows 10: Auto delete files in subfolders after a certain count value

Hello, I have a folder that contains ca 4000 subfolders, and those contain images. I need a solution that automatically deletes images from 7 and up in these subfolders, just to leave a maximum of 6 images in each subfolder, ideally the first 6 alphabetically. Does anyone know the solution? Thanks

I have added the file count column to my folder in File Explorer. However, the actual file count is not displaying.

• How did you added file count column for folders in File Explorer? What are the steps did you followed?
• When you say, "actual file count is not displaying" is this issue specific to any folder or happening with all folders?
• Have you installed any third party anti-virus on your system?

• Click on View from navigation pane and choose Detail pane.

Number of files in folder and subfolder are different

Dear all,

Please advise how i can solve the issue of different file count in folder and subfolder....

Assuming I create a new folder for 4 subfolders, there are 53 files in subfolders (which is correct), but folder of the 4 subfolders for file count is different. Please help me.

Delete auto suggestions

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the issue description you are wiling to delete Auto suggestion of previous search suggestions on Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to try the steps provided below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Tools (Ring) icon at the right top.
• Click on the Advanced tab then scroll down to Enable Suggested Sites and uncheck the box to turn it off then click Ok.

• Close Internet Explorer and restart it and see if it brings any difference.
