    Auto fetching DNS & Gateway IP address


    Team,When users connect from home they connect to their respective wireless network & they are able to connect to internet accordingly however after connecting at home, in case they come & connect to wireless network in office it is not getting connected to the wireless network as it is still pointing to the DNS, Gateway IP address which got fetched while they connected at home.We've tried the following.IP Release/Renew commands are not working.DNS Flush is also not working.We want to check whether there are any issues with the Windows 10/11 OS layer so to get this done what are the lo

    Thank you for posting to the forum. You are able to view the information associated with the Wi-Fi network you are connected too by:

    • Tapping settings on the phone
    • Selecting Wi-Fi
    • Tap the network you are connected to.
    • The IP address, Subnet mask, default gateway, DNS and MAC address information will be listed.
    If this is not what you are looking for please detail exactly what you are trying to get.

    setting of IP and DNS address

    PC Suite doesn't need to set the IP and DNS address to connect to the internet.

    The phone is acting as a modem - IP and DNS are dynamicly asigned.

    Please check the help menu of PC Suite. There's a chapter on connecting to internet.
