Windows 10: Auto fill UAC User Access Control box

Hi,I would like to script my UAC popup to auto-fill credentials on my domain laptop that I have admin access to.Keepass will not work as it is not running high enough. - I have heard that there is a script you can add but I need help to add it.Please help. Thanks.

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in resolving the issue. I understand that you receive a UAC prompt without a Yes button. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• How many user accounts do you have on the computer?
  
• Are you logged in using an Admin account?
  
• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  

Ideally, you will be asked for an admin password or username only when you are logged in as a standard user. I would suggest you to follow the steps to check the account type you are logged in to:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type control and click on
   OK.
   
3. Select Large icons from the drop down for
   View by.
   
4. Click on User Accounts.
   
5. You will see the user account name and the account type.
   

As you have mentioned the issue started after a remote session, if you are aware of any registry changes made during that time, we can try and perform System Restore, which should ideally, revert the registry changes.

User Account Control

Hello Ridho,

To enable the User Account Control (UAC) on Windows 10, please follow these steps:

• Click the Start button, type UAC.
• Click Change User Account Control settings.
• Choose between two options to enable UAC:
  
  • Notify when apps try to make changes to your computer.
  • Always notify when installing or making any changes to your computer.
• Click OK.
• Click Yes or enter your password to finalize the change.

Steps to disable User Account Control (UAC).

• Click the Start button, type UAC.
• Click Change User Account Control settings.
• Click Yes or enter your password.
• Set the settings to Never notify.
• Click OK to save the settings.
