Windows 10: Auto Rotation Button Gone from UI after latest Windows update

Discus and support Auto Rotation Button Gone from UI after latest Windows update in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 5568 and after the latest Windows 10 update, the auto rotation has disappeared from the UI as well as from the display...     Auto Rotation Button Gone from UI after latest Windows update


    I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 5568 and after the latest Windows 10 update, the auto rotation has disappeared from the UI as well as from the display and tablet settings where it used to be. Also, tablet mode does not activate when I rotate just past the center of the keyboard, it only activates when I rotate it all the way back to the magnets in the keyboard.


    Should I reinstall windows 10 on my device?

    Hello,

    Let us isolate your concern by answering the questions below:

    • What is the make and model of your device?
    • Have you checked on the action center if there is a Rotation lock option?
    In the meantime, we suggest that you check the Screen Resolution display to check if there is a setting to allow the screen to auto-rotate. Here are the steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Search for Display and then click Change display settings.
    • Mark the checkbox beside Allow the screen to auto-rotate option if possible.
    • Click Apply and then OK.

    Really needed to list more system specs and information on this issue.So this is assuming you have this and this is the issue.

    Why does my screen not rotate?
    The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

    • Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
    • Click the Start
      Auto Rotation Button Gone from UI after latest Windows update [​IMG]
      menu       and select Settings.
    • Click System.
    • Click Display.
    • Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.

    Auto-Rotate button not fully functional


    My Auto-Rotate button isn't fully functional in W10 RTM and was in W10 TP.

    In W10 RTM the Auto-Rotate button doesn't function when my 2-in-1 isn't rotated. In W10 TP the Auto-Rotate button functioned in whether rotated or not.

    Anyone observe anything similiar? Thanks.
