Windows 10: Auto-translate and replace text in-place automaticity ?

Hello.I am looking for an extension or solution for Microsoft EdgeSearched and tried a lot. Couldn't find what I need.All translation extensions I saw, sent the translation to a new tab, or a sort of pop-up displayed. What I need is to replace the text in an text editor. Select part of texts in a text editor and replace the selected text with translated text.Google Translate or another service.Any suggestions of specific extensions or maybe help with keywords to look for?

To achieve what you’re looking for, you can use the Microsoft Edge Translator Extension with a bit of a workaround. While the extension itself doesn’t replace the text automatically, you can manually replace it. Here’s how you can do it:

• Install Microsoft Translator from the Microsoft Edge Add-on Store.
  
• Once installed, you can access it in the upper right corner of Edge.
  
• After you finish writing your text in the input box, copy the text (Ctrl+C).
  
• Click on the Translator icon and paste your text into the translator.
  
• Translate your text to the desired language.
  
• Copy the translated text (Ctrl+C).
  
• Go back to your input box on Discord, select the original text, and replace it with the translated text (Ctrl + V).
  

This is not a straightforward solution, if you wish to implement a translation feature, you may wish to feedback your ideas to the discord developers, it is most convenient if such a feature comes with the app.

Bing translator with windows 10

Let me keep you informed, to translate any text through Bing translator in Internet Explorer, you just have to follow two simple steps as follows:

• 
  Select the text you want to translate.
  
• 
  Right click on the selected text and select the option translate with Bing.
  

As of now the option to set Bing Translator to the Edge is not available.

I suggest you to use the feedback app in the insider and send your thoughts directly to the team building Windows.

Important Info regarding Translations

• Only the tooltip texts will be translated (like the one in the screenshot, mouseover for entries in the main window and for the sensor labels).
• Submit suggestions only if you are a native speaker of that language and have experience with the technical terms used.
• Subscribe to threads of "your" translation so you can easily be notified of updates.
• Any language can be added as long as all/most of its texts are translated.
• Please make sure you use proper spelling, grammar etc.
• Translated texts will be provided to TPU free of charge and become property of TPU

To add a new translation, make a new thread in this forum. Do not make multiple threads for the same language.
You are free to use the target language in your discussions in that thread, but please use english if you want me to understand something *Wink
