Windows 10: AutoAttend Repair Installlation

    AutoAttend Repair Installlation


    Hey Guys,

    I am new here and searched through the forums and couldn't really find an answer to what I'm trying to do. I work in a break / fix shop and routinely do three things:

    • Repair installations of Windows 10
    • In-place installations of Windows 10
    • Clean installations of Windows 10


    By "repair installation" I mean an installation of Windows 10 while inside the user's environment, without destruction of data, programs, or settings.

    By "In-place installation" I mean an installation of Windows 10 that destroys the programs and settings, and the data is moved to Windows.old. I usually do this from outside the environment.

    "Clean installation" is self explanatory.

    I do this so often and clicking the dialogue boxes is boring and time consuming. I would like to create three autoattend files that can do the vast majority of the work for me. I looked into the autoattend documentation and it's a bit scary. I don't want to run into a situation where I blow out someone's data in a repair installation or in a clean installation.

    Ideas on where to start? The current version I'm using is Windows 10 1909.

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    I flashed my DCII-7970 with Ati flash and now it's not working

    open a RMA with ASUS send the card in for repair if atiflash isn't listing both cards then there is no possibility for you to repair it

    Do you have any idea how to create Windows 10 autoattended file ?
    It is normal for system builder use.
