Windows 10: autocomplete search being white when dark mode is enabled

So, I have dark mode activated, and when I type something in the homescreen search box, it looks normal--but then...It had never appeared like that before. Could someone please help me fix this issue?

Windows Search is white even though I have darkmode enabled.

Version number: 19043.928

For some reason Windows Search is in white mode even though I have dark mode enabled. I've tried disabling/enabling dark mode aswell as restarting a couple times.

To add, this is on a fresh install of W10.





Any ideas on how to solve this?

I had forgotten that W10 doesnt offer dark mode for W10, yet. I had totally forgotten, I was on W11 insider previously.

 

Windows 10 search results no longer dark in dark mode

As of the latest update, the search results when looking for something like a file or game or whatever have a white background like in light theme, even though I'm in the dark mode. I've changed my background to a solid color, turned on light mode and
then restarted and then reapplied dark theme, and still it's not turning dark.
