Windows 10: Autologon with guest account in Windows 10 LTSB Shared PC mode

Hello,


I recently discovered Shared PC mode on Windows 10, which gives me the chance to have my users login as guest, as I needed.

But I can't configure an automatic logon into this account at boot, because when you choose to login without an account it creates a new account with a new name.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Corrupted "guest" account cannot be deleted

As you are facing an issue in deleting Guest account, I suggest you to login with safe mode and then try to delete the account and check.

Step 1: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10

Step 2: Delete Guest account

• Right click on Start and click on Control Panel.
• Select User account.
• Click on Manage another account.
• Select Guest account and click on Delete account.

Guest Mode

Hi Praveen,

To resolve your concern regarding incorrect password for your Guest account, you need to log in using your Microsoft account password. To disable Guest mode, follow the steps below:

• Log in to your Administrator account.
• Right click on the Windows button found at the lower left hand corner of your screen.
• Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the following command: net user guest /active:no, and then press
  Enter.
• Restart your computer.
