  1. Automate folder opening and positioning

Hi. I have what I think is a simple and probably very common requirement of Windows 11, but I cannot see how to do it.When recording audiobooks, I use 3 monitors in an extended desktop config. I also use 3 or 4 Windows desktops. On one of my Windows desktops, I set up as follows:Monitor 1 has two specific folders opened in two of the screen quadrants, a third quadrant has an Excel document and the fourth quadrant an audio editing app.Monitor 2 has a Digital Audio Workstation open and Monitor 3 a pdf document.Setting up Monitor 1 is time consuming, especially after a common unscheduled Windows

  2. Windows 10 - Folder Size & Position resets to last Open Folder

I cannot find a setting in the Folder settings where I can set my folder size, type, position to be unique from other folders. When I close one folder and then open another the new folder inherits the same size and position of the last open folder.

Is there a way to change this?

The icon settings for each folder are saving properly. So if I want to see a list of files in one folder but have large icons in other folder there is no problem.

So this question is limited JUST to the size and position of the folder when its opened. Seems like XP had a setting where each folder could have its own unique position and size. Does Windows 10 have the same options? If not why not?

    Automate folder/Sub-folders ACL using powershell

    Hello Microsoft Community Members,

I am working on a powershell script that automates folder/sub-folders creation. I was able to accomplish this, however, i need to set certain access through automation. I've been looking for answers online, which I tried many of them without success.

    Here is my Scenario:

    1. I want to create Project folder, under the main project folder comes sub-folders.
    2. The project root folder should not be altered by anyone except certain project managers (other users cannot add/ remove sub-folders)inside each sub-folder, users can modify whatever they want (Add/Remove/Delete/Create), this can be accomplished through
GUI, but i need to make it automated.
What i have done so far, is i was able to take the input from the user (Project folder name, and sub-folders are statically assigned) and automate folder and sub-folders creation, but unable to automate the permissions.

Appreciate any kind of assistance. Thank you!!
