Windows 10: Automatic backup local folder to Onedrive business

Hi,I have a Onedrive business account and I want to select my working project folder to backup. I have searched for solution and couldn't get satisfied solution.The backup should automatically sync with Onedrive. There is a folder in C: drive default backup folder and I can backup that folder without problem. But I am working on several folder in D: and E: drive. so I cant manually copy and paste those working folder. Also it consume C: drive space.Hope you can understand my problem and help me.Thank in advance

Libraries are placed in onedrive folder instead of local folder

Hi HalSATL,

They're shell folders, which are different from Libraries.

To revert the shell folder locations to default, open OneDrive and do the following:

Important: Before proceeding, copy the files in those special folders to another folder or external drive. Please don’t copy them anywhere under Desktop/Documents/Pictures. This is because disabling OneDrive backup for a folder might erase the local copies of the files. Copying them to a different location beforehand will ensure that you don’t need to download them again from the OneDrive cloud.

• Right-click the OneDrive icon in the Notification area and click Settings.
  
• Select the Backup tab, and click Manage Backup
  
• In the Manage folder backup dialog, click on the Stop backup link under the special folder (Desktop, Documents, or Pictures)
  
• Click Stop backup in the confirmation dialog that appears.
  
• Repeat the step for each shell folder you want to revert to the original location.

Automatic backup

I'm trying to setup automatic backup. In windows 7 I have it setup but it doesn't backup everything in that folder it backs up only stuff that was edited which causes confusion. Is there any easier way to automatically backup everything in a single folder to my external hd

 

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Anyone know how to remove "OneDrive - For Business" from the Explorer navigation panel? I've tried just about every registry modification, and windows policy for "Onedrive" but they only seem to work for the consumer product, not for onedrive for business.

The onedrive product alone is so damn annoying and continues to load itself upon startup, even when it's explicitly remove from startup. It continues to automatically load and unload itself from within the startup folder... while I'm actively watching it load itself into the startup folder.
