  1. Automatic logout when changes are made in the Device Manager

I'm looking for a solution for the following problem:When changes are made in the Device Manager e.g. removing a USB stick, the user should be logged out immediately and the PC should return to the login screen. This would be ideal using Windows' built-in tools to avoid having to install additional software. Is there a solution for this? Thank you very much for your support.

    :)

The actual timeout does not change from the 120 minute default. This is the current configuration I'm experimenting with and it doesn't change either.

A little history: Initially RoboForm was a great little tool. Then when MS Store included it for Edge I started having difficulties. All minor and just more of a nuisance. Worked on some sites, not others, work this time and not next. That kind of thing. Then this started after I had to uninstall and reinstall the app after it completely quit working.

I've since done some experimenting and have found it works flawlessly 100% of the time with Google Chrome. Except for the Automatic Logout time. Other than give up on Edge, anybody got a suggestion to resolve this timeout problem?

As always I do appreciate Ten Forums help.

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to manage Screen timeout settings in Windows 10:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Personalization.
    • Select Lock screen.
    • Click Screen timeout settings.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you.
