Windows 10: Automatic microphone volume adjustment

I have microphone issue in my laptop. I am using an In-Line microphone 3.5 mm jack from Sony. The problem is that as soon as I raise my speaking volume, the mic lower it's sensitivity automatically. I want it to be constant. I manage my microphone volume from Control Panel in hardware and sound section. The slider Mic in at front panel black is through which I manage my microphone volume. But, this slider is not constant. The drivers are from Realtek. My windows, bios and all drivers are up-to date.

How do I stop windows 10 adjusting microphone volume automatically

I have connected my monitor to my PC's microphone port with a 3.5mm audio cable so that I can connect my Playstation 4 to the monitor and have the sound come through the PC. This has worked ok, but the problem I'm encountering is that the volume is automatically adjusting so that it is quiet when the game is quiet and loud when the game is loud.

I believe this is because Windows 10 automatically adjusts microphone volume so that it doesn't pick up background noise. Does anyone know if it's possible to stop it from doing this?

I'm using Windows 10 Professional.

During Skype calls my microphone volume adjusts itself automatically even though I have the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" unchecked. And, in Skype I have "automatically adjust microphone settings" unchecked.

This seems like a Windows bug. If not, is there some way to troubleshoot why the microphone volume is changing?
