Windows 10: Automatic redirect of unsupported sites in IE to Edge in 20H2

In 20H2 if you try to open a website in Internet Explorer that says it doesn't support IE then IE will automatically open the site in Chromium Edge and close.
One such site is Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free & Borrowable Books, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine

This can be disabled, the key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ext\CLSID contains the value {1FD49718-1D00-4B19-AF5F-070AF6D5D54C}

1 = enable (default)
0 = disable

Redirection of Edge to other sites

I purchaseD a new HP laptop with windows 10. Almost immediately windows edge began to redirect to multiple websites. Now, no matter which browser I use, edge pops up and begins to redirect to multiple websites. I scanned using malwarebytes:
no malware. I have no idea what to do next. HeLP PLEASE!
