    Automatic Repair Loop Problem


    Hey Friends,

    I got a new ASUS laptop a few months back and it was working quite good, but today it certainly starts showing Automatic Repair Error and has gone into the loop. I need help regarding the same. I will first mention what I have tried.

    1. I have tried the Automatic Repair. Doesn't work

    2. I tried the Cmd but it doesn't show any files in the Regback.

    3. I tried the Reset with 'Keep my files' it also gave an error.

    4. I also tried the System Restore but there isn't any restore point created.


    I must have tried with the image but at this moment i dont have one and neither possible to get one. So dear friends do help me as it is urgent to get the laptop working as soon as possible, I must have gone to a repair center for this but Due to the Covid-19 lockdown it isn't possible for me.

    Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

    As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
    Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

    We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.

    Hi there, thanks for your question.

    Here are the steps I generally recommend to fix automatic repair boot loops:

    Use Check Disk Utility

    Fix Boot and Rebuild BCD via Command Prompt

    Restore Windows Registry

    Delete the Problematic File

    Disable Automatic Startup Repair

    Check Device Partition and OsdevicePartition

    Perform Refresh or Reset Your PC
