    automatic repair, nothing works, how can I transfer all the files


    I have tried absolutely everything to fix the "Preparing for automatic repair" problem on my laptop, but with no result.Is there any way that I can transfer ALL my files even applications data, to another pc, while my laptop is in that state? P.S. I've read somewhere that it's possible that it's a ssd problem, but I've run hardware PC tests with the esc button, laptop is HP and the only problem I have is that my battery needs to be changed I already know that because everytime I remove the power cord, the laptop is turning off

    As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
    Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
