Hi, every time I start my computer, it goes into an automatic system repair loop. I think the issue might be that I have another Windows file on the D: disk. So I formatted the data and tried unplugging the D: disk. Sometimes it works, but other times it reports disk not found even though I have a C: disk with the system files. The system still reports D:/Recovery\WindowsRe\Winre.wim\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt.I reset my computer, but it still didn't fix the issue. I scanned all of the files using the command prompt, so my files and Windows are good.So what should I do now?

    :)

    Vista Automatic Updating Error

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    Does Windows Update Take 10GB?

Richtclick con "My PC" (Or "My desktop" and "Properties", it tells you if your system has SP1.

    1) In your case, I would just reinstall al new (not update or repair), no need to killdisk.

    2) Make sure your system is perfectly healthy (Device manager), if needed, install mobo, chipset and SDD drives.

    3) Run Winupdate, it will install updates step by step, not 200 at once.

    4) Check each step before proceding to next step. Read WinUpdate error messages early (also in Event viewer/System filter by error and warning).
