    I have windows 11, but had this issue in windows 10 too. Did not bother me a lot due to the fact that my own home computer have automatic windows update completely turned off, i like to have control over when the updates downloads, installs and a restart is needed and not suddenly get surprised by it one day when i do not expect it.On my work computer i am unable to disable automatic windows update due to computer policy. Thru my workdays I have lots of software and windows open, mainly because i keep forgetting to close them. Every single week I do an manual reboot of my computers to make sur

    System restarts automatically?????HELP!!!!!

    Turn off Windows Automatic Restarts so you can see what type of BSOD the system is popping.

    when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

    Automatic Restart

    We appreciate your response. We suggest that you turn on the automatic restart using command prompt. However, you need to access the
    Startup settings. On some Windows 10 computer, pressing
    F11     once a computer boots up will bring the System Recovery menu. We suggest that you check if it's the same on your computer. Here are the steps on how to do so:

    • Turn on your computer, then press F11 simultaneously.
    • If a blue screen with Choose an option shows up, click on
      Troubleshoot      .
    • Look for Advanced options, then click on Command Prompt.
    • On the command prompt, type this in "wmic RecoverOS set AutoReboot = True".
    • Once done, click the "X" at the top right of the screen.

    Restart your computer and see if the issue persists.

    We would appreciate it if you'd provide a screenshot of the command prompt.
