Windows 10: Automatically going into sleep mode the moment I start it

Hiiii


Since last few days, whenever I start my laptop it gets on and then suddenly goes into sleep mode. I have to again press the power button and it seems to come out of sleep mode and then functions normally. I haven't changed any settings. I need help to fix this issue. Moreover, during the same time the laptop has been warning that the battery is completely drained and I need to replace it. So I have tried using the laptop with power plugged but to no change. Please help.

Computer will not go into sleep mode automatically at the appropriate time interval

I just re-installed windows 10 and now my computer will not go into sleep mode automatically at the appropriate time interval. Any suggestions?

Desktop will not automatically enter sleep mode

I've changed power settings (included the advanced settings) to allow sleep to automatically occur after 10 minutes, but the computer doesn't go into sleep mode. It previously went to sleep automatically, but apparently some automatic system updates have
changed that feature. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
