Windows 10: Automatically shut down after the laptop getting sleep when idle.

Recently I reset the laptop in recovery and then a few days after the reset, I suddenly encountered a problem. While my laptop was sleeping, it suddenly shut down. Let's say that I left it idle and then when it went to sleep on its own after pressing the buttons to turn it on again, it will suddenly power off and turn on again. I don't even know where the problem comes from. I have also tried to do the other solutions that I found online, there in power options then in "hibernate after" it will be changed to "never" but it still hasn't been fixed. I have also tried various command prompts such

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.

Laptop shuts down instead of sleep when idle

Hello,

I'm asking a question because I tried all the methods I found here.

I'm trying to fix a problem on an Asus k551ln that shuts down instead of going to sleep when let idle. I tried a lot of methods (running troubleshooting, reinstalling fully clean windows, powercfg -restoredefaultschemes) but none of these are working.

The battery in the laptop is completely dead, meaning that when it is unplugged the computer shuts down a few seconds after. So I tried to completely remove the battery from the computer (by opening it), and ran the computer plugged in. The problem persists, when it is idle, it shuts down instead of sleeping.

I guess it comes from a power default, but I was wondering if replacing the battery could solve the issue ? Of the only thing I didn't try is to update the BIOS, coulid it help ?

Laptop Getting shut down when in sleep mode

hi,

there's been a little issue with my laptop's power settings, i suppose. My laptop gets shut down when i close my lid to put to sleep mode. however it doesn't gets shut down within 1 hour or so but gets shut after more than 4-5 hrs. this doesn't happen to
my brothers laptop, his laptop stays in sleep mode and remains unaffected with the shutting down process.

can this be fixed?
