Discus and support AUTOSAVE in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; How do I get my word or excel file to AUTOSAVE without being forced to use onedrive.     How do I get my word or excel file to AUTOSAVE without being forced to use onedrive. There was a time when you could set the AUTOSAVE TO 1,2,5, 10 minutes, which was a huge protection agains a computer freezing on you.

    Need Serious Help: How To Record Video of What is Done on my PC?

    I suggest the following simple steps:

    1. Set the autosave options in MS Office to a low value say 5 minutes.
    2. Setup file history to autosave frequently - the shortest period is 5 mins
    3. Install Macrium Reflect Free and configure it to do a daily incremental system backup

    You should be well covered if you do the above to protect your key files.

    Autosave not properly working for a Word document on OneDrive

    I want to verify something:
    If you right-click the affected Word file where AutoSave keeps turning off, and select Properties, what does it list as the location of the file?

    Autosave in Excel Mobile (WM5)

    Point taken. I still think it's ridiculous that there isn't an autosave feature embedded in this, and I suspect, other Microsoft mobile products. I recently downloaded a trial version of Ptab by Z4Soft (Windows Mobile, Pocket PC, Smartphone Software) that has an autosave feature,
    which allows you to save at a minimum of 1 min intervals. In my initial looks, it appears as though it does everything and more than MS's Excel mobile. Although I'm not certain whether I want to spend $30 for the program, I am considering it due to the
    lack of features of Excel.

    Any other thoughts? suggestions?
