Windows 10: Autostart of Edge at start up

I've followed the instructions to make sure that Edge is not started when I start my computer in the morning.Despite "Automatically save my restartable apps when I sign out and restart them when I sign in." is Off. In fact, it has always been set to "Off", and it's extremely annoying that it still always starts Edge. How can I get rid of this unwanted behavior?According to the "System Information/Start-up Programs", it appears that thus selection is recognized, see below, but has no effect on the actual behavior.CiscoMeetingDaemon "c:\users\tommy\appdata\local\webex\webexhost.exe" /daemon /r

E52 Autostart Applications

Hi,

I installed fring on E52 and everytime i restart the phone, the fring
application tries to start up and connect to internet, how do i find out the list of autostart programs and services and how to disable their autostart feature?

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

How do I delete programs that are uninstalled from autostart?

Hi, I have some things on my task manager auto start like some programs that are no longer on my PC but still show up in my autostart, the only option I have with them is to enable autostart and to look for them online. Is there any way to reset my autostart section but still keep all the things that have autostart by default on task manager?


(EDIT) Som better clarification, I want to remove programs from the start up list like so I don't see them on the list so I even have the option to enable and disable them.
