Windows 10: aux cord not working when head phones

Dear Admins of Windows 10 Home,

Recently have purchased the Windows 10 Home
System Information:
OMEN by HP Laptop 15"
Processor name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
Total memory : 16 GB


PROBLEM:

Some Videos which have been downloaded of YouTube were able to play through the Laptop enabled Speakers but some videos are not.

Also while connecting to the Head Phones speaker also not able to listen. Here the Head Phones speakers are connected with a Cord.

But ALL the VIDEOS can able to listen through the Wireless Speakers like BEATS only.

Having put the question to HP Support they say need to download the software VLC to listen through both Laptop enabled speakers as well as Cord enabled Head Phones.

Also, BEATS Speaker was DISABLED such that Laptop enabled speakers as well as Cord enabled Head Phones, but still not working.

Can you please advise me as to how can myself enable through both Laptop enabled speakers as well as Cord enabled Head Phones.

Aux Cord Mic not detected by Windows 10

I recently bought a pair of wireless Zebronics headphones which came with a wire to connect it to the headphone port. Since the cable lacked a mic, I brought a new aux cord which had a in-line microphone to use. I connected it to the PC and the sound plays into the headphones, but Windows doesn't detect the in-line mic. There is no option to connect it in the Sound Settings and it only shows the default Realtek system microphone. No drivers were installed either. Both the headphones and the mic work perfectly on my phone but not on my PC. My PC also only has one headphone jack. What should I do?

 

Head Phone or Ear Wioks

Thanks Dude. I had looked at Amazon an was leaning toward the below Avantree long cord Headphone (ear wicks).





These are $14.99. They are 12 ft cords (not quite long enough), but Amazon has extension running from 4ft to 20 ft. The prices are not too bad. ($10 or less).

I may check out Tiger Direct also.
