  1. Avoid "bong" when adjusting the volume slider on Windows 10

When I adjust the volume slider with the mouse or arrow keys, there is always "bong" sound. It is very intrusive. I am adjusting the slider based on the volume of the music to optimize concentration. Every single adjustment is followed by a very loud "BONG". Not only is it jarring, but it makes it hard to get the right volume for the study tune. Is there any way to disable this BONG?

    :)

    Adjusting headphone volume

I hope this is the correct forum...for the first time I used headphones in Windows 10 Pro, and I found the normal Fn-F6 and Fn-F7 that adjust speaker volume do not work to adjust headphone volume - nor does the slider in the task tray. I can go into Control Panel and find the speakers and adjust them, and they are set as default. But it seems to me that in past versions (I came from Windows 7) when headphones were plugged in, the audio slider in task bar adjusted them - when headphones were not plugged in, it adjusted speaker volume.

Do I have to go into Control Panel every time I want to tweak headphone volume? What am I missing?

Too many volume sliders in Windows 10

I have a Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard with the latest available drivers.

I am getting three different volume sliders displayed when adjusting volume. When I adjust the volume from my multimedia keyboard, a vertical Windows 10 style slider appears in the upper left corner of the screen and at the same time a horizontal Windows
7 (correction... Windows XP) style slider above the system tray in the lower right corner of the screen.

Then I get a third type of horizontal Windows 10 style slider when I click on the speaker icon in the system tray. I'd be happy if I had just one of these sliders... preference to the third type. This was not a problem in Windows 7, from which I recently
    upgraded to Windows 10.

Any ideas as to how to fix this over abundance of riches?

How to adjust Windows 10 notifications volume

To adjust the notification volume in the first photo it showed on volume mixer the master volume and slider and the system sound volume and slider, just turn the slider to bottom on system sound slider and that should make system sound light.

    Take Care Buddy. Best wishes!
